Numbers from a funnel we ran ourselves, not a customer result. An anonymized rideshare driver recruitment pilot in South Africa, run on Meta ads under a partner brand. Seven-day read ending 19 April 2026. This is a B2C, single-vertical, capture-only pilot and not a B2B benchmark. CPL measured at capture. Activation and downstream results occur inside the client's system and are not tracked by this pipeline. Based on a 7-day pilot, 2026. Not a projection of future results.

The Challenge

Rideshare platforms carry high driver acquisition costs, often thousands of dollars per sign-up once bonuses are counted. Traditional recruitment channels are expensive, slow, and leave no auditable consent trail. The question we set out to answer with our own money: how cheaply can a compliant, self-serve driver funnel capture a usable lead?

Our Solution

  • Built a multi-city landing page system with city-specific earnings data and requirements
  • Implemented consent tracking with an append-only audit trail
  • Set up waterfall data enrichment for driver verification (license, insurance, PrDP)
  • Created AI-powered scoring to prioritize drivers most likely to complete onboarding
  • Configured real-time webhook delivery to the client system for instant follow-up

What we measured

  • 969 leads captured for CHF 671.70 of ad spend over seven days
  • CHF 0.69 per captured lead across the week (CHF 671.70 / 969, measured at capture), best day CHF 0.34, click-through rate 5.0%
  • 581 leads delivered to the client portal
  • Of the 969 leads, 8 scored qualified under a deliberately conservative scoring model: fewer leads pass the bar, by design
